Our Missions

The SHSAA, Inc. strives to fulfill its Missions on a daily basis.  Those Missions include, but are not limited to, administering a scholarship fund for needy and worthy youth and providing affordable housing to those who need it.  These Missions are a part of our effort to give back and offer a helping hand to the members of our community.

The fulfilling of our Missions is a true example of things coming full circle – a continuance of the love and nurturing that many of our members received during their matriculation through Sampson High School.  We intend to sustain that circle for many, many years to come.

The Committee includes a National Chairperson, who is an alumnus of Sampson or Clinton High School, a co-chairperson, and a chapter representative from each of the active chapters.

Housing

SHSAA, Inc. completed renovation on one of its classroom buildings at the old Sampson High School site in 1997. The purpose of the renovation was to transform the classroom building into eight apartments that are collectively called the Sampson High School Housing Complex.  The Association’s Phase One Housing Complex Committee oversaw the renovation of the classroom building from beginning to end.  The address of the complex is 701 McKoy Street, Clinton, NC.
The apartments have a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.  They are fully occupied and rent for a modest sum.  The apartments are managed by Venture Manor Realty, owned and operated by Johnny Pridgen.  These apartments help our organization to fulfill one of its missions, which is to provide affordable housing to those who need it.

For rental information regarding the Sampson High School Housing Complex, please contact either Johnny Pridgen at (910)592-3160 or Maggie W. Williams, SHSAA, Inc. Business Manager at (910)592-6287.
